Listen up snow lovers!
If you’re eager for some Freeride fun and want to boost your skills then Arc’teryx Academy Freeride is for you. This new event is in the same vein as the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy (Chamonix, FR) and Arc’teryx Academy Climb Lake District, but taking place over the weekend of 18-20 February at the St. Anton an Arlberg resort in Austria.
Max Müller, EMEA Sports Marketing Manager, Arc’teryx says: “We are excited to launch a winter Academy in Europe for the first time and can’t wait to welcome athletes, participants, guides and visitors. A weekend with kindred spirits brimming with tips, tricks and inspiration.”
The event is for fans of backcountry, freeride and off-piste skiing of all levels. There will be 23 workshops led by professional mountain guides and world-class athletes spanning everything from first aid to avalanche safety to an all-women freeride workshop.
A full programme of après-ski social events including a movie night follows the Academy’s daytime activities. Every participant will also get a goodie bag of products from Arc’teryx and participating partners.
Prices for the various workshops range from €80-€140. Numbers limited so get in quick.
