AS it’s National Armed Forces day on Saturday, Cotswold Outdoor is introducing a 15% discount for those serving in the British Army, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force.
The 15% discount can also be used on Cotswold Outdoor’s online shop.
The outdoor store has supported the armed forces with a discount for the past thirty years but it is increasing it to 15% as a pledge to further support servicemen and women.
It will take some of the sting out of paying out for essential and specialist kit (which the forces often don’t issue) to help them in their daily roles around the world and for their own use.
Hans Falkenburg is the CEO of Cotswold Outdoor and this discount is the second gesture of good will after he announced earlier this year the company’s support for the Wings For Life charity.
His reason for giving a bigger discount? “It’s important to us at Cotswold Outdoor that we support the UK’s armed forces who carry out their crucial roles with pride and enthusiasm,” he explains.
“With our discount, we hope that members of the armed forces will be able to make the most of using Cotswold Outdoor stores and services.”
