THIS year’s Rab Mountain Marathon is taking place in Snowdonia, organisers announced today.
The event was last held in Snowdonia in 2011, but the “there is little overlap so you’ll be guaranteed a very different experience”.
Organisers add that: “We have a truly excellent competition area with challenging mountainous terrain that is quite a contrast to 2014. The Event Centre will be in Capel Curig with the event area accessing both the Glyderau and Carneddau.”
Entries close on Monday 21st September and the event takes place on Saturday 26 to Sunday 27th September 2015.
Competitors can arrive on the Friday night and enjoy a showing of the ‘Best of ShAFF’ adventure film featuring The Black Cuillin and Desert Runners, along with an accompanying meal and cake & custard (can only be booked in advance).
