The Ducati Dream Tour weekends are aimed at those who want to experience an incredible weekend of riding in Italy on Ducati’s latest bike models in the hilly area between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany.
This year the Ducati Dream Tour takes place on five weekends, with each one starting on a Friday morning at Ducati’s headquarters in Borgo Panigale, near Bologna.
Participants will have lunch in the Ducati factory canteen and then have a guided tour of the factory and the Ducati Museum – an interesting prelude to a few days of dedicated Ducati riding.
Ducati staff will then assign you the Ducati bike that you’ve chosen from the 2015 model range to ride on and you’ll set out for the gorgeous Palazzo di Varignana Hotel Resort located in the rolling green hills. This is an ideal place to taste the famous food and wine of the area and relax in the excellent spa within the resort.
You’ll want a good night’s sleep on the Friday because on the Saturday morning you’ll start the longest and most exciting day of the tour. The route twists and turns through 270 km of the finest Italian roads, passing by the Mugello racetrack, where Ducati tests out its motorcycles.
The itinerary planned for Sunday is just as interesting: participants will follow a route of approximately 250 km, once again along stunning roads and through spectacular scenery before ending up at the Ducati headquarters on Sunday afternoon.
The motorcycles available, included in the tour, are the new Multistrada 1200 S, the Monster 1200, the Monster 821, the Diavel and the Hypermotard and Hyperstrada.
