NO doubt you can see a winter wonderland from your living room but this satellite image really shows the extent of the cold weather over the British Isles.
Published yesterday by the University of Dundee after receiving the image from the NASA satellite Aqua, this image shows the British Isles with a growing north/south divide in snow cover. Whilst Scotland, Wales and the north of England remain almost completely coated in snow, the contrast with southerly regions is clearly visible.
A glimpse at a past ice age perhaps?
