One of Europe’s luxury chalet companies, HiP Chalets, celebrates their tenth birthday this year.
And for 2017 it has decided to offer something a little bit different for the reflective adventurer – mindful ski breaks.
Skiers can expect three days of quality mountain time with ex-professional skier, yogi and HiP co-founder, Jamie Strachan.
Jamie will encourage skiers to connect their mind and body with their ski technique, hence the name ‘mindful skiing’. He runs the company with his wife Julia Bergklint, a former Swedish rock-climbing champion, so you know you’ll be in very good hands.
The Mindful Ski Breaks are running throughout the Winter and will extend to the Spring season.
You will need to travel to Chamonix where you can stay in one of HiP’s 5* chalets – Bouji Lodge (pictured here), Chalet des Drus or La Ferme du Bois.
To continue the mindful experience after a day of skiing, guests can have HiP-Apothecary and sample a range of treatments including essential oils and mindful massage. Some of the oils and bath products are also available for guests to purchase.
The Mindful Ski Breaks cost from £1,500 person.
Or if you want a straightforward luxury stay for a week, prices for seven nights start from £785 per person at Bouji Lodge. This includes accommodation on a half board basis, resort transfers and an in-resort chauffeur service.
