New footwear from The North Face has Futurelight fabric in them

Drier feet for the coming season of hiking and running

New footwear from The North Face has Futurelight fabric in them

Here’s some new footwear from The North Face that uses the brand’s new waterproof (and breathable) Futurelight fabric in them.

There’s the Ultra Fastpack IV FUTURELIGHT™ and the Activist FUTURELIGHT™ both suitable for hiking, and the Ultra Traction FUTURELIGHT™ for running.

First up, the Ultra Fastpack IV shoes. These have been out for a while, but a Futurelight membrane has been added for the new season, letting you deal with wet weather more confidently. It’s available in low and mid height options and in all sorts of colours. Mens and womens versions on sale too.

It’ll be exciting to see how effective the Futurelight membrane is at keeping your feet dry

Next to have the Futurelight treatment are the Ultra Traction trail running shoes. Built for technical trails, these are for athletes seeking protection and comfort as well as a precise fit. This shoe provides a responsive underfoot experience, with a EXTS™ outsole for increased traction.

Futurelight fabric in these trail Ultra Traction runners will certainly help keep your feet drier

Finally, the Activist hiking shoes offer all-day comfort on and off the mountain. Also available in low and mid height options. One of the key things we like about these is the grip pattern on the bottom and that you can wear these casually as well as out hiking.

The Mens Activist hiking shoes look great!

We really like the sole and that grip pattern

We think the mid versions of the Activist will be popular hiking boots this coming spring/summer. Here’s a few photos of the mens version.
