Here is Bremont’s new BC-SOLO watch and is in reference to the fact that no pilot ever forgets their first solo flight.
Giles and Nick (the brothers behind Bremont) say they have always loved the classic pilot watches of the 40’s and explained why they’ve come up with this addition:
“We felt that in our range there was room for a beautifully simple and very traditionally styled pilots watch. We have used applied indexes to give more texture to the dial and have two options of black dials with both white and cream numerals.”
It’s housed in Bremont’s famed 43mm Trip-Tick three-piece case and powered by the modified BE-36AE movement.
Each watch case will also be hardened in the UK to over 2000 Vickers making the case over six times more scratch resistant than normal watch grade steel.
The BC-SOLO is also water resistant to 100m (10ATM) and the domed sapphire crystal has nine layers of hardened anti-reflective coating to each side.
Priced at £2,550.
